Demi Moore’s Leather Gown at the 2025 SAG Awards Had a Surprising Drop-Waist Silk Skirt – Yahoo Entertainment

Demi Moore has been busy cementing herself as a 2025 awards show darling, thanks to a well-deserved run of nominations (and wins) for her role in The Substance. Fresh off her historic Golden Globes Best Actress nod, and several red carpet method dressing moments, the Ghost alum wore a black leather drop-waist gown as she made an appearance at the SAG Awards on Sunday night.
Moore is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role at the February 23 Screen Actors Guild Awards alongside fellow A-listers like Pamela Anderson and Cynthia Erivo–and she brought her fashion A-game to her latest appearance. The star has been busy slaying the awards season red carpet, most recently turning heads in the kaleidoscope-inspired halter-gown she wore to the BAFTAs and a Substance-coded Schiaparelli lace-up gown she wore to the Critics Choice Awards.
As she stepped out at the SAG awards, Moore wore a black Bottega Veneta dress with a leather bodice with vertical seams, a peplum-style drop-waist, with a long silk skirt. She accessorized with a gold-and-pearl choker and matching cuff. Her long black hair was styled in a middle part and loose curls, and her glam featured a smudged black liner and a peach lip.
Moore, who brought her daughter Scout Willis to the EE Bafta Film Awards nominees’ party red carpet, posed alone for Sunday’s awards show. However, she was surrounded by Hollywood stars like Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and Timothée Chalamet, who came out for the SAG awards in full force.
Hosted by Kristen Bell at Los Angeles’s Shrine Auditorium & Expo hall, there was initial speculation about whether this year’s celebration would happen amid the devastation of the California wildfires, which devastated parts of Los Angeles. The SAG-AFTRA previously cancelled the live, in-person announcement of the SAG Award nominations by Joey King and Cooper Koch on January 8, instead sharing this year’s picks in a statement.
Only time will tell whether Moore scoops up another win for her turn in the body horror film, but her SAG Awards red carpet look is coming up gold.
